Seit Mai 2009 bieten wir auch hier eine vielfalt an Outdoorprogrammen an. The Julian Alps and the River Soca provide a stunning backdrop to a fabulous range of adventure sports.
As you gaze at the mountain peaks, the wild flower meadows and the rushing waters of the River Soca it’s hard to believe that the Soca Valley witnessed some of the fiercest front line fighting during the First World War. Nowhere is this history more vividly recalled than in Ernest Hemingway’s “A Farewell to Arms”.

Nowadays the peace and quiet is rarely shattered by anything other than the whoops and hollers of rafters negotiating the Soca’s rapids.

The valley has become an activity mecca and the best possible base is the pretty town of Kobarid. Dwarfed by towering mountains it is ideally situated to take advantage of the myriad walking and cycling trails, the canyons and, of course, the river.
